Program Assessment Seminar
Northeastern University's ASL Program along with The National Interpreter Education Program is proud to announce a two-day seminar that has been specially designed for Directors and Administrators of ASL Programs and Interpreter Education Programs. The seminar will address various issues of assessment and evaluation at the programmatic level such as entry and exit assessment, language assessment, formative assessment of students, faculty assessment, assessment across the curriculum, assessment of curriculum cohesiveness and designing and implementing a plan to assess overall program effectiveness. This seminar is ideal for programs preparing to articulate in offering Bachelors degrees, integrating state-of-the art curriculum approaches, considering applying for accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Interpreter Education or needing to provide assessment data for institutional support. The seminar will take place at Northeastern University on Thursday June 19th and Friday June 20th.To ensure maximum participation space is limited!
Each participant will receive a resource packet containing seminar notes, assessment outlines and blueprints, essential articles and books.

Northeastern's Third Annual Summer Symposium:
This seminar is being offered during the Summer Symposium at Northeastern University, and participants will have the opportunity to join any social activities occurring during the seminar. More information about the Symposium can be found on our website at www.asl.neu.edu/summerimmersion/. The NAOBI Conference is also being held just south of Boston, and will have interesting workshops and social opportunities during the week.
