Professional Development
The Northeastern University Regional Interpreter Education Center provides information and assistance for organizations and individuals planning, teaching, and participating in professional development activities. The Center maintains a region-wide calendar of events and a speaker bureau containing the names of educators who have taught successfully in our region in the past, along with their areas of specialization. As a Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Certification Maintenance Program Sponsor, the Center can assist event coordinators and educators in providing CEUs for groups and individual participants. Interpreters may also apply for CEUs for academic coursework or other participant-initiated educational activities.Please explore the areas listed in the navigation menu to the left.
