• Strategies for Interpreting with Deafblind People

Steven Collins is an instructor at Gallaudet University in the Department of ASL, Linguistics, and Interpretation. He is a graduate of Gallaudet's Interpreter Training Program and has had extensive expertise as an interpreter and interpreter coordinator for Deafblind individuals. Mr. Collins presents training workshops across the country and has served as a consultant for the National RSA Deafblind Interpreter Training Grant. He's a Ph.D. candidate at The Union Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received a Fulbright scholarship working with the Deafblind community in Italy.
