| Shelley Lawrence, CI/CT, SC:L. CSC, has been an interpreter for over 25 years and an interpreter educator for over 20 years. She graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1975 and was a Special Student at Gallaudet University in 1974. She received her masters degree from California State university, Hayward in communication and Interpretation doing research on the effects of Sign language interpreters on Deaf speaker credibility. Since 1980, she has been teaching at Ohlone College in Fremont, California where she is currently a professor and coordinator of the Interpreter Program. | |
