The Rehabilitation Services Administration National Priorities charge the Regional Interpreter Education Centers with the responsibility to collaborate on a national level in the identification of effective practices in interpreting education, and to ensure that all states and territories within each region have access to effective approaches, products, services, and technical assistance as they are identified. The Northeastern University Regional Interpreter Education Center has a significant presence in both the national and regional work of the Consortium.
