DEAF, Inc. in Allston, MA is in need of volunteers Monday through Friday. The Independent Living Services Department, the front desk, the Adult Education Department, and Project HOPE are in need of reliable, hard-working, friendly women and men to come and volunteer their time. Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing and Late-Deafened individuals are encouraged to volunteer. College students and interns are also encouraged to apply to volunteer for the fall and year-round. Hearing volunteers need to be able to communicate in ASL or have taken a minimum of 1 year of ASL classes.
