The Interpreting Club at Northeastern University (ICNU)
ICNU is a student based organization. Made up of interpreting students, ASL students, Deaf students and other Northeastern community members.
ICNU runs several events throughout the year. Some examples from the past year are listed below:
- Mentor/Mentee Dinner
- ASL Festival Guest Speaker
- Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs) Panel
- Guest Lecturer: Intro to Medical Interpreting
- Guest Lecturer: Working with a Certified Deaf Interpreter
- Guest Lecturer: Italian Sign Language Interpreter visited campus and shared with students and faculty her experience working with the Italian Deaf Community
- Social Event: Halloween Party
